The Pitt County Animal Shelter is a shelter for stray and owner-surrendered animals. The animal shelter is looking for people to adopt rescue pets. If you're interested in adopting a pet, then you have come to the right place. Our pets are in a desperate need of a home. Most rescues have been found abandoned. Therefore, they must be cared for by a loving family.
Fostering, volunteering, and adoption are options to consider. Anyone is allowed to adopt. Children under 18 years of age cannot adopt an animal without a parent or guardian.
Check out the "Animals" section to adopt a rescue pet. Have questions? Read our "Contact" page. Feel free to navigate, and click the social media buttons at the top of the page to keep up with daily announcements.
