I'm a mixture of both. I can be outgoing and shy depending on the situation.
I once went to Walt Disney World with my family, so that trip is my all-time favorite memory.
My friends would describe me as dependable, hard-working, creative, and honest.
I look up to my mom the most. She supports me and gives me incredible advice.
Family, friends, puppies, coding, reading, shopping, and music make me happy.
I felt the most proud when I won an award for the highest math average in seventh grade.
My biggest fear is bumble bees. I got stung by a bunch of them many years ago.
My goals are to travel the world, raise kids, and live a healthy life.
I would visit Germany. Germany is such a beautiful country.
I was asked this question at my kindergarten graduation. I wanted to be a teacher.
Hello! My name is Elizabeth (Liz) Cozart. I was born and raised in Greenville, NC. I come from a family of four (five if you count my puppy, Poppy). I have an older brother. I'm family-oriented, and I spend as much time with my family as I possibly can. I cherish the things I have more than wish for the things I don't have.
I was crafty when I was younger. I would always go to arts and crafts stores to find crafting supplies. Michael's back in the day carried a ton of beads for hand-made jewelry. All my craftiness over the years somehow led me to Web Design.
I consider myself a beach person. I travel to the beach of Emerald Isle every summer. I would choose the beach if I had to choose between the beach and the mountains.
I'm introverted, but I enjoy interacting with other people. My quiet time consists of reading a nice book. My favorite authors are Sarah Dessen, Nicholas Sparks, and John Green. I prefer to read romance novels. My bookshelf contains a whole lot of romance books!
I received a two-year degree last year in Human Resources. I added Web Design as a secondary major. I'm glad I decided to pursue Web Design. I'm able to show off my creative side.
HTML and CSS were the first coding languages that I ever learned. I was a teenager in high school. I took a Multimedia course my second to last semester, and to my surprise, HTML went way over my head. HTML just didn't make sense to me initially. I had trouble remembering the basic codes. I started taking coding seriously after I graduated.
I figured out early on that Web Design was my calling. I joined the Web Administration and Design program at Pitt Community College in 2018. I successfully graduated with a Web Design degree. I have grown tremendously in the past several years that I finally mastered how to build static pages and style them. I also know a bit of JavaScript. I express myself and my personality through designing. I pick a suitable color scheme and fonts that blend well together.
I love transition effects and animation. It's fun to play around with code to create a cool effect. I believe websites aren't complete without including a touch of pizazz.
My developmental process is pretty simple because I build websites from scratch. I find it easier to code using open-source text editing software. Notepad and Atom are my go-to text editors. I scan my codes on beautifier sites to detect errors and clean the appearance. I publish my official work on GitHub. Be sure to check it out, especially if you're interested in working with me in the future.
I knew coding was going to be a part of my life forever as soon as I began learning to code. Web development is the perfect career path for me. I'm ecstatic to take my passion to the next level as a Web Developer and Designer!
